Happy New Year everyone! 2013 was a particularly slow year for me in terms of drawing, but one of my resolutions is to get back to it in 2014. I mostly just did small doodles here and there last year, so I might upload a sketchdump if I ever get around to it. I hope by the end of this year I will have finally developed my own style that I'm actually proud of. One of the things I really need to work on is getting people that I draw to actually look like themselves, and I'm currently practicing that with the cast of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (since I have gotten very much so attached to that show). Well hello there deviantart. In just a few months, it would have been a year since my last journal post. Huh. Not much has changed, actually, which is probably why I haven't updated in so long. I guess I never did update about DallasCon though, did I? It was awesome. Best time of my life. Mark Sheppard, Matt Cohen, Richard Speight Jr, and Jared Padalecki all had really nice things to say about my artwork when they signed them. They just announced that there's going to be a con in DC next May, so I'm trying to get the money to go to that too, but we'll see. What else...
